Mild and dry weather today gives way to a wet storm system Wednesday.
The National Weather Service says quiet weather is expected for tonight through Tuesday, although winds will increase once again late Monday night into Tuesday.
Forecasters say a storm system will bring a more activity for the middle of the week. Widespread rain is expected across the area Wednesday and Wednesday night, with a possibility of some freezing rain and light ice accumulations for some of our listening area.
It will turn very windy on Thursday with spring-like temperatures in the 50s and 60s.
