No Injuries When Teen Hits House With Car

UNDATED – No injuries were reported when a vehicle struck a house.

St. Joseph County Sheriff Mark Lillywhite says at 10:42 AM on Friday, a Chevrolet Monte Carlo, driven by a 16 year old Constantine girl, was heading north on Lutz Road. The driver swerved to avoid another northbound automobile, but went off the roadway and struck a house, doing significant damage to the structure.

The driver was wearing her safety belt at the time of the crash. Nobody was in the home. The driver was given citations related to speed. Assisting deputies were the Three Rivers Fire and Rescue and the Three Rivers Ambulance.
