HOWARD TOWNSHIP – A Dowagiac man was injured in a one vehicle roll over accident in Cass County's Howard Township.
According to the Cass County Sheriff's Department, 43 year old Michael Maleski was driving in the southbound lane of M-60 heading north at 11:47 PM Wednesday.
Investigators say Maleski drove off the road and then rolled his vehicle, coming to rest on its side, south of the intersection of Yankee Street. The Howard Township Fire Department removed Maleski from his vehicle. He was then transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital by SMCAS Ambulance to be treated for his injuries.
Maleski was wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash, which is still under investigation. Also assisting at the scene were the Pokagon Tribal Police Department.
